Struct TimeStep

Namespace
Jitter2
Assembly
Jitter2.dll

Timing information for a simulation step and its solver substeps.

public readonly struct TimeStep
Inherited Members

Remarks

Force and torque limits integrate over SubstepDt. Position-correction bias uses InverseStepDt so its rate is measured over the full step.

Constructors

TimeStep(float, int)

Creates timing information for a full step divided into substeps.

public TimeStep(float dt, int substepCount = 1)

Parameters

dt float

The non-negative, finite full step duration in seconds.

substepCount int

The positive number of solver substeps.

Properties

InverseStepDt

The inverse full step duration, or zero for a zero-duration step.

public float InverseStepDt { get; }

Property Value

float

InverseSubstepDt

The inverse substep duration, or zero for a zero-duration step.

public float InverseSubstepDt { get; }

Property Value

float

StepDt

The full simulation step duration in seconds.

public float StepDt { get; }

Property Value

float

SubstepCount

The number of substeps in the simulation step.

public int SubstepCount { get; }

Property Value

int

SubstepDt

The duration of one solver substep in seconds.

public float SubstepDt { get; }

Property Value

float
